Analytics

We use GoatCounterto understand how the site is used — for example, how many people start and finish the cost calculator. GoatCounter is cookie-free and does not collect or store any personal data or cross-site identifiers. It only reports aggregated numbers (page views and the named events below); no individual visitor is tracked or identifiable. Because no cookies and no personal data are involved, no consent banner is shown or required for this analytics.

We track the following named events inside the calculator:

• calculator_started — you began the calculator.
• calculator_completed — you reached a result.
• email_submitted — you submitted the optional email form below the results.

The email field on the results page

Below your calculator results, you can optionally leave your email address to be notified when a deeper, paid report (your optimal model mix per task, and your break-even threshold) becomes available. This feature does not exist yet — submitting your email only registers your interest.

Submitting this form is entirely optional and requires an explicit, unchecked opt-in checkbox. If you submit it, your email address is sent to [form processor — e.g. Formspree] for us to store and later contact you. It is used only to notify you about this report and is not sold, shared with third parties for marketing, or used for any other purpose. We don't store it in your browser (no localStorage) or put it in a URL.

Your rights

If you've submitted your email, you can ask us to tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it at any time by contacting [contact email]. Since analytics has no personal data tied to it, there's nothing individual to access or delete there.
